General Terms and Conditions
You should always be satisfied with the services provided by Blumenhaus zum Dom. We guarantee the conscientious handling of every order. Our guarantee includes
– delivery of the ordered goods by the florist
– in fresh, flawless quality
– on the agreed date
– at the daily price valid on the day of delivery at Blumenhaus zum Dom and on the website.
Should there nevertheless be a reason for complaint, the recipient can of course contact the florist delivering the flowers to Dom Floristen. They guarantee the quality of the delivery for five days and will provide compensation in kind if the flowers or plants complained about are presented within this period. With this guarantee, we guarantee that your order will be carried out with love, care and the best quality. If you are still not satisfied with the delivery or the quality of the shipment, please submit your complaint to us within 5 days of delivery.
Prices
All prices quoted include local delivery charges and local VAT.
Products
Flowers are a seasonal product, so we cannot guarantee that all types of flowers will be available in all our flower stores worldwide at all times. Prices are also subject to seasonal and regional fluctuations.
Please note that the product images are only sample images – as each bouquet is individually and freshly tied by the florist on site, there may be slight variations.
Our bouquets are generally delivered without a container (unless specified in the product description). Arrangements and potted plants are delivered – depending on the product description – in glass bowls, baskets, cachepots, but these can also vary in shape and color.
Correctness of the delivery address
Please ensure that the delivery address provided to us, including the local telephone number, is correct and complete. We cannot accept any liability for any delays or non-deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If an order cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete address details and a second delivery to the corrected address in the same delivery area is subsequently necessary, the customer will be charged the service fee twice. If a second delivery cannot be made in the same delivery area, the customer may be charged additional costs (max. order value).
In the case of hospital deliveries, the department and room number must be stated where possible. Deliveries can only be guaranteed up to the point of receipt at the hospital. For hotel deliveries, please state the room number and the name under which the recipient is registered at the hotel (group, couple, etc.). Deliveries are only guaranteed up to the hotel reception.
Delivery options
At least one of the following delivery instructions must be selected for each flower shop for the Dom order:
If the person receiving the gift is not on site, the floral gift may not be delivered to the person receiving thegift.
- be handed in to a third party (e.g. neighbor, reception).
- in front of the door. Please note that the delivery is completed when this permission is granted and that neither Blumenhaus zum Dom nor the partner store carrying out the delivery is liable for any lost flowers.
- be kept for 2 days for collection at the Blumenhaus zum Dom partner store.
- Delivery costs Vienna:
- 1st district: free of charge
- Districts 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th: € 10,-
- Districts 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd: € 15,-.
- Mödling, Korneuburg, Klosterneuburg, Vösendorf, Langenzersdorf: € 30,-
Regardless of the option selected, the florist will leave a notification card for the Dom partner store.
If the selected option is not possible, the florist may use one of the other options mentioned. The selected option will be noted on the notification card.
Please write specific delivery instructions in the comments field in the event of bereavement.
If the customer requests a second delivery, an additional delivery fee will be charged.
Flower parcel delivery
The following conditions should be observed for every parcel order:
- the shipment cannot be delivered if: the delivery address is incorrect, the shipment is not collected, the company is closed, etc.
- No liability is assumed in the event of force majeure or for damages resulting from waiting times or operational disruptions.
- In the event of any delivery problems, we will always inform you by e-mail.
Order and delivery confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation for every internet order via e-mail within a short time. If the delivery has not yet been made, you will receive a message about the delivery status.
If you do not receive an order or delivery confirmation, please contact the Blumenhaus zum Dom customer service immediately.
Blumenhaus zum Dom accepts no liability for damages that arise because you have entered an incorrect e-mail address or if the order and delivery confirmations are not delivered for other reasons (spam filter, full mailbox, etc.). You may be charged for any resulting double orders and incorrect deliveries.
Right of withdrawal
Cancellation policy
Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Blumenhaus zum Dom, Stephansplatz 4, 1010 Vienna, Austria, blumenhauszumdom@aon.at, Phone: +43 1 5124391) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail).
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:
Contracts for the delivery of perishable goods (cut flowers) and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
Default of payment
Costs in the event of late payment
The payment period for orders against invoices is 10 days. The following costs are incurred in the event of late payment:
- Reminder fees
1. Reminder: € 10,-
2nd reminder: € 20,-
- Processing fee collection service provider
(at the earliest 80 days after invoicing when handed over to the collection service provider)
Handing over the bouquet
Our florists always deliver the flowers to the recipient personally. If the recipient is not present, either a notification card will be left at the door (with contact details of the florist carrying out the delivery) or the bouquet will be handed over to a third party (such as a neighbor, reception, porter, etc.) – in this case, a card will be left at the door with precise details of where the bouquet is to be collected. Our florists are authorized to call the recipients before delivery to arrange a delivery date – if this is not desired, please indicate this when placing the order!
Contractual partner
Your personal contractual partner is the respective florist (closest to the delivery address). Our customer service will be happy to answer any questions and provide information!
Blumenhaus zum Dom vouchers
Blumenhaus zum Dom vouchers are available and redeemable in the partner stores in Austria and via the Internet. Cash payment of the card value or a partial amount is not possible. No interest is paid on the credit balance. The card will not be replaced in the event of loss, theft or damage. The general terms and conditions of Blumenhaus zum Dom apply.
